Private Montana Deer Hunts
(Mule & Whitetail)
Latitudes Outfitting Co. conducts Montana Mule deer hunting on private leases where you will have the best opportunity to harvest a trophy animal without the pressure from other deer hunters.
We base our Montana deer hunts out of the agricultural area along the banks of the Missouri River Breaks near Fort Benton, MT. A mix of breathtaking prairie scenery, the famous Missouri River Breaks, big bucks and a hard working outfitter will provide you with the hunt of a lifetime. Our Montana Mule deer hunts are managed for trophy quality, as we only run a minimal number hunts on our lease ranches per year. Our deer hunting is world class with Mule Deer bucks in our area every year being killed that score 190" to 200" B&C. Montana is one of a few western states that lets you hunt mule deer during the rut, giving you the chance at big mature bucks looking for does.
Our Whitetails in Montana are known for big bodies, heavy antlers and tall tines. Our clients are amazed at the amount of Whitetails we have in our hunting area. These deer have the same genetics as you’ll find just over the border in the lower portions of the Canadian provinces just to the north of our ranches. We use spot and stalk methods, rattling, ground blinds, tree stands, glassing openings and hunting scrape lines to harvest some of the best whitetails of our season. Our season falls right over the Whitetail prime rut just like Mule Deer, which gives us a great opportunity to experience an incredible Whitetail hunt.
Remember your tag is good for either a Whitetail or a Mule deer buck as our hunting area has both species of deer.

Private Lands Antelope Hunts
Latitudes Outfitting Co. offers Trophy Pronghorn Antelope Hunts. Whether you want long-range shooting on a rifle pronghorn hunt or an exciting archery encounter, Latitudes Outfitting Co. offers it all. All the antelope hunts are fair chase and we do mostly spot and stalk hunts for Pronghorn, but if you would prefer to sit in a ground blind that can be arranged.
Our antelope hunts are conducted on the same private leases that Latitudes Outfitting Co. has managed for many years for trophy deer near Fort Benton. Our ranches contain hundreds of antelope, and this hunt offers almost nonstop action. Mature bucks can be found in every herd and we average a 90% success rate on these hunts. License draw rates vary from year to year but we hunt many areas that draw at 100%.
Our archery hunts are offered beginning mid-August and our rifle antelope hunts are mid-October through the early November. Our hunts are fully guided 3 day hunts, either 2x1 or 1x1. We use pickups, side-by-sides UTVs, ATV’s for access.

Unrivaled Elk & Deer Combo Hunts
Our elk hunts take place in one of the largest migration areas in the state of Montana. Roughly 4000 elk from the surrounding areas descend onto their winter range every year. When the snow piles up later in the season, this can truly be world class elk hunting. This hunt can be tailored for nearly every client. From the first time elk hunter to the trophy hunter looking for the bull of a lifetime.
Our mule deer area recently changed from a permit area to a general area. This means the first year or two of this hunt should produce some outstanding bucks that have received relatively little hunting pressure for the last 20 years.
We can combine mule deer on hunts offered through November 13, after the 13th we will focus on whitetail bucks!
Wolf/Bear/Lion can be harvested on these hunts on a trophy fee basis.
All hunters must apply for the big game combo licenses.
Guided clients are eligible to purchase an additional preference point when applying, this should increase odds of drawing the big game combo license dramatically.
All hunters need to apply for Elk Permit Number 270-45
Hunters encouraged to apply for one of the following Deer permits:
240-50

Public Lands Hunt - Muzzleloader Elk
With the new regulation changes we now have a very unique hunting opportunity: Late season trophy elk hunting with a muzzleloader.
This hunt is in my opinion (Robert Gary, owner/outfitter) the best opportunity in the country for trophy bulls without having to wait 20 years to draw a tag. This is a 10 day hunt in mid December, when the snows have started to pile up and weeks of no pressure will have these bulls on their feet and out in the open. We specifically target bulls in the 300”+ range. These hunts are only being offered on a 1x1 basis to ensure every client a reasonable opportunity at a trophy class bull.
Hunters must be proficient with a traditional muzzleloader out to 100-150 yards for optimal success on this hunt.
Wolves can be hunted for no additional fee.
Hunters must apply for Elk Permit 270-45.
