We are truly thrilled to announce the launch of a new program, a Midwest Hunt Fish Forage weekend, May 7-9! Spring in the Midwest is a magical time of year, providing an abundance of opportunities to experience the resurgence of life in our forests, fields and streams. Turkey hunting, wild foraging and outstanding fishing opportunities are all on the table, and our goal is to set that table for you.
We’ve assembled a top-notch crew to lead each component of the weekend. Owen Murphy and the crew @latitudes_ohio_whitetail_co will lead an intro to wild turkey hunting and guide hunters for a chance to bag one of these storied birds.
Fishing Guide Jimmy Lampros @Jlampros2 will lead and instruct anglers fly fishing for smallmouth bass, sauger, and other warmwater species on Ohio’s first Wild & Scenic River.
Chef Ben Bebenroth @chefbenbebenroth of will lead and instruct a guided hike and harvest as we learn how to locate, properly identify and harvest wild edibles such as morel mushrooms, wild ramps, fiddlehead ferns and more. To tie it all together, Chef Bebenroth will lead us through an interactive, laid-back cooking class as he prepares a field-to-table dinner with our yield from the adventures.
The setting for the weekend will be an amazing and unique 5,000 acre property in Columbiana County, OH (about 1.5 hours southeast of Cleveland). Lodging, meals and most equipment will be provided, and no prior experience in any of the three activities is necessary. Space for the first offering of this program is extremely limited, and only 5 spots remain. To reserve your spot now or have any questions, call 440-596-9517 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
